STORM-PROOF WIND TURBINES
CURRENT PROJECTS UNDER WAY FOR RIMMED (RWT) AND FOLDING BLADE TURBINES (FBT)
USA Air force
The rimmed and folding wind turbines NPC Global are working with the Air force and HCATT in Hawaii and are in final engineering- which is what they are supporting and funding with $1M and with no obligation for rights to the technologies from NPC. They are investing in R and D for NPC so they can become a customer- when the project is complete in September.
Chile
High Altitude Mines in Chile will be testing high velocity wind turbines. There will be 2 new mines not yet operating and one existing mine which has been open for over 5 years. All mines are short term re-deploy ability is important. – The folding wind turbine and a larger industrial version of the ducted wind turbine will be tested.
Ghana
MOU signed with the Company - Doubson Ghana Limited who have significant contacts and existing contracts for other services, in both the government and private enterprises, they will be visiting Australia in the July 2014 with one of the largest Cool-store Owner, who is looking for a secure and reliable source of energy from wind turbines to run his cool store, without reliance on the grid.
They have signed contracts with real estate developers to supply them with NPC Energy products, suitable to their applications and they have also had a meeting with other cold-store owners in regards to NPC Energy supplying renewable energy solutions for them.
